(Eric Veronikis/PennLive)Harrisburg police are at the scene of a shooting near Sixth and Division streets in which two people were wounded.Neighbors said about eight shots were fired shortly after midnight.A man and a woman, each in their early 20s, suffered what appear to be non-life threatening wounds said Cpl. Steven Prisbe.The pair were shot in the parking lot of the King Food Mart at Sixth and Division streets, police said. They ran from the scene after being wounded and were found a short distance away on North Sixth Street.Police were canvassing the area for evidence at 12:30 a.m., and were combing the convenience store parking lot for bullet casings, as well as talking to neighbors.Police Chief Thomas Carter said the two victims, both Harrisburg residents appeared to have been targeted. He would not identify the victims, citing concerns for their safety.No further information from police was immediately available.It's not the first time violence has happened at the food mart. On April 30, a fight over a woman led to a knife fight there in which both participants were wounded, police said.Editor's note: This story was updated to include new information from police.
