One of New Hampshire's famed dog sledding companies is Barking Brook Sled Dog Adventures located in Bridgewater, NH. They offer winter and fall activities and rides. In the fall a 0 will get you a tour of the facility and meet the dogs from October to mid December. Two of their most popular dog sledding offers are full and half day courses. The half day ride, named The True North Adventure, features an approximate 3 hour dog sled tour with one additional hour with the dogs and viewing of the gear that will be used. The cost is 5 for a single or 5 for two people. The Snow Paws Adventure is an all day excursion with visits with the dogs, lunch, a kennel tour, and the same 3 hour tour as the half day tour. The cost of this package is 0 for one person or 0 for two. The tours will take you through Loon Mountain and Waterville Valley which is part of the White Mountains.
