Telling of the time he fell into a crevasse at nineteen thousand feet, it keeps the reader on the edge-of-their-seat throughout and, despite knowing the outcome still manages to keep them glued for the entire duration of the book. Determined not to give up, Mak ventured beyond his shelter. The rain was just as heavy and the light was rapidly diminishing. He prodded around some likelylooking drier nooks for more kindling. He found some more dry moss and several interesting mushrooms the size of his hand. He considered eating them . . . but was convinced he’d probably die on the spot, so left them alone. This was then followed up with a number of survival guides that sought to inform his now numerous readers looking to potentially undertake pursuits and adventures of their own. Adventuring and writing to this day, Bear Grylls continues to put out his books for an ever eager audience, something which will continue for some time yet, as he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
