About this deal

Its “power pass through” design lets you charge both the ThinkVision M14 and your laptop with a single adapter.

If you’re unsure, check the specifications of your device or contact the manufacturer as the specs often don’t specify. It has okay peak brightness for use in moderately-lit rooms, but it doesn't get bright enough to fight glare. inches (HWD) with the screen placed at right angles to its base—the screen portion itself is just 0. With a brightness of 300 nits, the ThinkVision M14 offers a stunning visual experience while consuming content online. The unique USB Type-C ports on each side of the monitor, as well as its ambidextrous design that allows both left- and right-handed users to operate smoothly, and ergonomic design, improve the user experience.Gamma follows the target almost perfectly, but some really dark and really bright scenes are slightly over-brightened. The Dell is more versatile because it gets brighter, has better reflection handling, and supports HDR, but the Lenovo is to be used on the go anyways.

Lenovo rates the display's luminance (that is, the brightness per unit area) at 300 candelas per meter squared (nits), and it came up just short of that (280 nits) in my testing. The Lenovo can display a much wider range of colors in SDR and has much better color accuracy after calibration. The stylish design with a Full HD, IPS display provides vivid lifelike visuals, ensuring you never miss out on any detail. The monitor has a -5° to 90° tilt angle and an adjustable foot lets you change the height to your liking. There weren't any instructions on how to do this in the user guides, and we had to find a more detailed manual online. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It also gets much brighter, making it a better choice for bright environments, and the monitor feels better-built as the stand is more solid. The ThinkVision M14 and your laptop may both be charged with a single charger because to its "power pass through" architecture.

Its ergonomic design lets you control the viewing angle-and thanks to ports on both sides, it's friendly to right- and left-handed users. And despite its ultraportable design, it delivers great visuals on its FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display. The Lenovo is a portable monitor with a much smaller 14 inch screen compared to 32 inches on the Samsung we tested. Coverage of the Adobe RGB color space is decent, but it may not be enough for professional photo editors. The ASUS comes with a folio case that you can fold up to use as a stand, whereas the Lenovo's stand is a flap that also houses the inputs and controls. On the right side are the power button and a USB-C port, flanking the notch for a Kensington cable lock. Packed with impressive portability, connectivity, and flexibility features, the ThinkVision M14 is ideal for mobile productivity.

You can also use the monitor as a power passthrough, so you can connect a power source on one USB-C input and charge your source device with the other input. Also, gamma doesn't follow the target sRGB curve all that well, so most scenes are brighter than they should be. I even found the display to go over Lenovo’s claim of 300nits brightness, with a SpyderX measuring it at 324nits.Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).
