About this deal

Note: The latter two titles have native releases on Xbox One, however, the matchmaking pools are not combined. The events of the player's ending are determined on the fates of Menendez, Lynch, and Alex Mason, and whether the Strike Force missions were completed. In addition to gameplay changes, the traditionally linear Call of Duty story structure saw an update as well. The game’s branching storylines, dictated by the actions of the player during Strike Force missions sprinkled throughout the campaign, changed the game’s ending by tilting its US/China Cold War one way or the other. The fates of a number of key characters are fluid as well, encouraging multiple playthroughs for fans who want to see it all. Some spoilers are contained in the decision table below, but most of the descriptions have been scrubbed (or "cleaned") and use only generic terms.

This mission only becomes available if the kidnapping was successful in Karma. Your strike team simply recovers the hostage before you commit to the next mission, Suffer with Me. The action is non stop and full of great scenes. You'll ride in jets, futuristic transports and by golly, horses! Weapons are varied and each has a strength and weakness. As campaigns go, I think most shooter fans will embrace this game well. In July 1986, Alex Mason, now retired from active duty, pursues an obscure life in Alaska with his son, David. Their shaky relationship is further strained when Jason Hudson approaches Mason for an assignment in Angola—Frank Woods and his team have disappeared while attempting to take out an arms smuggling ring; the CIA has already disavowed their actions, but Hudson hopes to rescue any survivors. After aiding Jonas Savimbi's UNITA rebels against Angola's Marxist government, Mason and Hudson recover Woods from a barge on the Cubango River, subsequently encountering a Nicaraguan arms dealer named Raul Menendez among a contingent of Cuban military advisers. After a lengthy firefight, the trio are rescued by Savimbi. It is revealed that Menendez is responsible for holding Woods captive after torturing and killing his team. There is also 3D support if players are playing with an HDMI cable on a 3D TV. Before entering multiplayer mode, there is a 3D setting in the "options" menu. [46] Japanese releasesIf Mason survives being shot by Woods, he will reunite with him and Section. If he does not, David retires from the military after visiting his father's grave. The landscape of shooters is changing somewhat. The fact is that everyone loves playing military shooters, but we're also realising that we don't want to glorify aimless killings. A lot of games are trying to make you feel that conflict and even make you feel bad about what you're doing. But I don't think it's been handled very well here. [79]

I have mixed feelings about the online play. It Feels similar to the past COD titles in some ways, and th futuristic weapons are a nice change of pace. The gameplay is fast paced and there's always people to play with. Wii U can be the preferred platform for core games, says Nintendo". Wiiudaily.com. Archived from the original on July 13, 2012 . Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engineReveals clue about a mole (or traitor), and spawns the file item in Time and Fate. Otherwise, the lead may not appear. Marty Sliva of 1UP gave the game a B+ while praising it's freedom of choice in game modes and gameplay variety: "I was surprised with the risks that Treyarch took in the name of delivering a unique and creative experience. Not all of them paid off, but knowing that the team was willing to eschew the safe route helped ward off any stagnation that may have begun to creep into the series as of late." [69] In the past, the story of the game was played continuously and follow what the creative team set out. But in this game, that has changed when the player’s choice will affect the game’s storyline to lead to something else. The plot will be divided into branches, and depending on what you select, that will lead to a different outcome. So if you want to experience the whole story of the game, the player will have to play the game more than once to learn the entire end of the game. This feature is a new thing added to the game to make the game much more interesting than before. The multiplayer, on the other hand, remains peerless. Huge, deep, streamlined and varied, it raises the bar yet further for online shooters – especially with the new focus on eSports and CoD-casting. 343 Industries may run a very close second this year, but Call of Duty is still the boss on the battlefield.
