They have reset the text completely for the large print edition, using several hundred more pages instead of making the pages larger.

I've taken it to a restaurant before and just eaten a sandwich and done a devotion without drawing too much attention to myself. This Bible especially makes a good choice for anyone struggling with how the Bible applies in today’s world or those working with new coverts. This contains lots of useful information for those who want to help others with their Christian walk.

There is also a 2 page (in 3 columns) list of just the charts and the same size list of just the maps. The cover is green (the NIV version is red) and it measures 6 7/8 inches by 9 1/2 inches by 2 inches. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.It was the nicest version I ever had and I really liked the format and how easy it is to read and understand it. Each profile includes strengths and weaknesses, greatest accomplishments and mistakes, and key lessons from their lives. It's definitely worth purchasing if you're just starting out with Bible Study, and/or a new believer. It answers questions that you may have about the text and provides you practical yet powerful ways to apply the Bible to your life. The text is easy to read and understand, yet keeps the meaning of the original manuscripts; the maps, the time-line, the profile notes on the main biblical characters, the charts and diagrams, the cross-references are all an incredible help in applying God's word to our daily life.
