Barbara Gordon was set to feature in the HBO Max film Batgirl, played by Leslie Grace. The film would depict her origin in the "DC Extended Universe" and take influence from both Batgirl: Year One and "Batgirl of Burnside" run. The officer in charge of the sting, Sergeant Max Cort, tries to apprehend Batman but fails.
