Fill your sandwich with your chosen filling. Using a large circular cookie cutter create a circle, you might need to flatten with a rolling pin to ensure your sandwich fits. Do not disregard the leftovers as you will need them to complete The Gruffalo. Using some of the leftovers create a small circular nose. I cut this using a knife as I don't have a small enough cookie cutter. To create the eyes, I simply sliced two pieces of carrot. For the eyebrows I cut some of the crust and placed above the carrot eyes. Using some more leftover crust, I added two ears. Next I made the horns and teeth using sliced cheese. I just cut these using a knife. I then shaped a pieces of cucumber into a small circle and placed on the nose for the poisonous wart. Finally, I rolled two raisins into balls and added them to the eyes. Now it is time to put the kettle on and enjoy eating your Gruffalo sugar biscuits while you finish listening to the Gruffalo with your little one.
