About this deal

Zajac! Coach screams, waving wildly at me. She’s only using my last name because she can’t remember my first name. No more shots! Give the ball to someone else!

Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide.Kelly Quindlen is excellent in making me fall in love with her characters. Her previous book's - Late to the Party - main caharacter was in love with her friend group, too, just like Scottie, just like me through them. Perfectly captures the joys and hopes and thrills of being a real, authentic teenager . . . A fantastic read for queer teens today.”—Kacen Callender, Stonewall and Lambda Award–winning author This Is Kind of an Epic Love Story Neither of the girls showed any interest in men, yet they never once said the word "Lesbian". I used to never quite realise this in books but I can definitely see how harmful it is, so hopefully, this author chooses to amend that in her future books.

She Drives Me Crazy is the perfect romcom. It’s the kind of romance that is sizzling with chemistry, but still manages to be utterly earnest and heartfelt. A must-read for every romcom fan.”—Adiba Jaigirdar, author of The Henna Wars Tally takes her place near me at the top of the key, keeping enough distance to stay open for a pass from her new point guard. But then, almost like she can’t help it, she glances at me. I’ve placed this gem of a novel on my ‘greatest-books-of-all-time’ list and I think you’ll really enjoy this delightful young adult rom-com just as much as I did! Excerpt from She Drives Me Crazy by Kelly QuindlenPerfectly captures the joys and hopes and thrills of being a real, authentic teenager . . . A fantastic read for queer teens today.” —Kacen Callender, Stonewall and Lambda Award–winning author This Is Kind of an Epic Love Story I really enjoyed the premise of this book, after all I’m a simple gay, when I hear a sapphic book about a cheerleader and an athlete with an enemies to lovers trope, I HAVE to read it. At that point it’s out of my control! However, I do have some gripes about the story and characters. First of all, right off the bat, I found Scottie to be really frustratingly arrogant and unaware of the emotions of the people around her, BUT I do really approvals the character development I will admit. It’s what brought it up from a 3 star to a 4 star. Another thing is it did drag a little longer than necessary at certain points purely because judgements of certain characters were sometimes questionable but it wasn’t completely ruining it for me, so at least that was nice. Maybe it was on brand for high school students so maybe it’s just me thinking that. A little sweet, a little sharp, this romance will resonate with readers looking for an emotional journey."— Booklist, starred review
