About this deal

Carefully clamp the Shaft in your shaft clamps (PN: 803-00-147) using proper shaft clamp techniques to prevent damage to the sealing surface, then unthread the Shaft Lug counter clockwise with a 10mm wrench to remove it.

Reposition your shock in the vice so the bleed port on the back of the eyelet is the highest part of the shock as shown. After oil stops draining from the lowers, pull the lowers off of the upper tubes and set them aside.WET SEAL: This depends on how often you ride, where you’re riding and the manufacturer of your fork. We won't be tearing into the damper or the spring side of the fork, rather just giving the fork a quick freshen up. This means the cost is deducted from your salary as a non-cash benefit, so you save on tax and national insurance.

I would agree, normally, but fork sliders need extremely slippy lube and I’m not sure that thick grease like this is ideal. As mentioned in a another post, I have just done a lower fork service (two, in fact) so I need to replace my stash of Sram Butter / Slick Honey fork grease. If you clean the fork externally beforehand, you mitigate the chance that you’ll bump dirt into the lowers when removing them. Cycle to Work is a salary sacrifice scheme, where you can save up to 42% off a new Bike and Safety equipment. Originally developed for motorcycle suspension systems, Slick Honey is unmatched in its ability to provide nearly frictionless movement while staying in place longer than other greases. All brands of suspension or dropper posts have been getting the Slickoleum treatment and we have been very stoked on its performance!
