You can participate in both PGR Buddy Schemes but please note carefully the eligibility criteria for each scheme.

I’ve been active all my life, it even drove me to become a personal trainer and then physiotherapist but I always struggled to run on my own…So when lockdown struck and that was my only option, I thought there must be people in the same boat as me who could also use some help! We can provide you with a full time ‘Manny', an after school Buddy, someone to help out in the holidays or just a casual babysitter.

Sometimes local cycle hubs will have bikes you can borrow to practice with and some councils offer bikes on short loan schemes to try out. The Cycle Buddies service is a matching service to help people build confidence in cycling and should be done in conjunction with cycle training to ensure everyone has the correct cycle skills to cycle on the road.

You’ll be helping our members to reach the goal they’ve set themselves, such as using money or using their mobile phone.
