About this deal

Also, the reverb effect is non-switchable (unless saved within presets) and the huge array of delays cannot be accessed when the looper is in use. The expression pedal is so-so - certainly not as responsive as your standalone expression pedals but gets the job done. I found it very easy to dial in some very nice tones right away, not even using the factory presets. I assume the programmability was limited to which combinations of 'pedals' were on at once - since the controls look like pure analogue ones - but that could still be very useful. The 70 is not bigger than the 50, it is the same size, so the 4 "modules" and their foot switches are now smaller and fitting into the space where there was 3 larger foot switches before.

Acoustic Sim tone setting, "name brand" OD/DS setting names, ring modulator, stereo chorus settings, and 2 of the previous 4 types of reverb (it now has only Room and Hall). In addition to its stellar COSM amp models and effects, the ME-70 is outfitted with a new COSM Preamp section derived from BOSS’s GT-10 and Legend series. It's one thing to have a sprawling pedalboard with every effect pedal you'd ever need, but if one pedal can give you awesome, versatile tone and portability, look no further than the Boss ME-70. The friendly, knob-laden design makes tone creation a snap, but with a powerful COSM AMP section derived from the GT-10, the ME-70 takes the "EZ effects" concept to new heights. However, the ME-70 now splits some of those tone options off to the new Preamp section, which makes sense since some of the OD/DS choices on the ME-50 were amp-specific distortions. Some have complained how hard it is, but as explained in the manual it's simple to adjust, and when you do it you also recalibrate the pedal range. toxic12: Recently, someone questioned Liam if the masterpiece "nothing nowhere" would be included on the upcoming record.

I never realised there was such a big difference between a guitar amp and a PA, other than the usual overdrive preamp controls. I thought the problem was down to the difference in impedance between a guitar amp input and a mono line-input. I think the initial clunk to get the pedal working (activate) is heavy and requires sometimes 2 thumps to bring it to life, that said when you get over this minor hurdle (I have a weak leg from a motorcycle accident) it performs admirably. It has at least a couple of thousand dollars in individual pedals if you add them all up and runs on one power supply and lead. The recording output added speaker emulations to the amp models, and once again I was impressed with Roland’s COSM modeling. It turns out that inserting a plug into the ME-70 rec/phones socket enables miked speaker simulation, on all outputs.
