Thankfully, that’s not the end of the show though, with Extras star Ashley now coming into the hugely popular BBC crime drama. The BBC was also kind enough to let us know about this renewal before season seven started to air, so we weren't left worrying for the fate of the show after Douglas Henshall's exit.
