-- is calling for musicians to participate in the April 5 event, marking the fifth year for DCAF.

This year's fest, presented by the Tuscaloosa Tourism Sports Commission, will take place at Government Plaza downtown from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 5.

Registration is currently open for musicians at . The official musician lineup will be announced on Friday, Feb. 28. Chosen musicians will be compensated 0 for their performance, in addition to complementary beverages and light snacks, according to a DCAF press release.

Performances will be every hour beginning at 11 a.m., with the festival headliner taking the stage at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Twelve musical acts participated in the , with Tuscaloosa bands like Looksy and The Doctors The Lawyers performing on the main stage.

The DCAF goal is "to provide a quality arts and music festival, which strengthens Tuscaloosa as a destination market for the arts circuit, while also educating, engaging and inspiring both youth and adults about the arts and humanities within the Tuscaloosa community."
