Elle responded to criticism regarding the close up, black and white portrait of Mindy Kaling for its annual Women in TV issue. Mindy looks sexy, beautiful and chic, the magazine said to E! News. We think it is a striking and sophisticated cover and are thrilled to celebrate her in our Women in TV issue. Critics accuse the publication of hiding the actresses physique and skin color while all other featured women's bodies are shown in full and in color.
